Nissan has upped its game and is now coming out with a new generation of full-size SUVs based on the Infiniti QX80 platform, unlike the previous ones which were based on the Titan pickup mechanicals. Exterior Features
The 2017 Nissan Armada is gigantic and has looks of the Nissan Patrol. The full-size SUV comes with a muscular exterior design with features such as Nissan’s signature V-motion grille. It comes in three trim levels namely SV, SL, and Platinum. The wheelbase is 121.1 inches, and its body length is up to 208.9 inches. The overall width of the SUV is 79.9 inches and the height is 75.8 inches.
Engine Power and Performance
The Armada is equipped with a 5.6 liter V8 engine that is capable of producing up to 390 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque. It uses a 7-speed automatic transmission. Users have the option of choosing between a Front Wheel Drive and an All-Wheel Drive. Note that the Armada has the capacity of towing up to 8,500 pounds.
Communication and Command Center
Standard features in the Armada include an 8 inch LCD, 13-speaker Bose audio system, traffic navigation, weather navigation, and heated front seats.
