Major Change in Flow
For this iteration of the Altima, Nissan especially targeted the body’s styling by implementing what it calls an “energetic flow” approach. Basically, Nissan upgraded the look of the sedan with a V-motion grille, boomerang-shaped headlights and taillights, and a more masculine fascia.
This latest design's renewed flow of energy courses all the way through to the interior, with seats ergonomically designed and positioned. The Altima, in particular, goes to the lengths of providing door armrests well padded for comfort. Front bucket seats also feature form-fitting, zero-gravity technology, which allows for a high variety of comfortable postures.
Rear-seat passengers don’t have to worry about losing headroom or legroom in the Nissan Zero Gravity seats. Even six-footers, in fact, can sit back and stretch sufficiently without imposing on anyone else in the car.
More Added Features
Meanwhile, riders maintain access to controls and navigation, thanks to the 5-inch infotainment touchscreen. Move up the trim levels for a 7-inch touchscreen, providing even better access to all NissanConnect mobile apps.
Select knobs for volume and tuning are retained along the sides of the screen, but all in a convenient location.
Fort Bliss area Nissan dealers can provide you a full look at the 2016 Nissan Altima once you make an appointment to see them.
